In VITAMINS AND MINERALS ASSEMBLE! have your students imagine that each vitamin and mineral they learned about is a superhero with powers that can give their mind and body an extra-special boost. Using poster paper and any craft materials that are on hand, have students create a colorful, eye-catching poster depicting the superpowers of the vitamin or mineral of their choice, as well as which foods can help them get enough of the nutrient. Encourage students to give their “superheroes” fun names and make their poster as creative and informative as possible.
