Continue the learning journey with the following writing prompt:
In INSPIRED BY TEACHERS, have students choose one of the prompts in the skills sheet to write a two-page personal essay. In option A, students should explain what they have learned about the important role of teachers. They should use a mix of their own thinking and information from the article to explain the purpose of classroom rules, the importance of good communication, and/or the most important ways to impress their teachers. In option B, students should write about three teachers they want to thank for lessons that have helped them beyond the classroom. For each teacher, they should provide a specific example of how they learned the lesson, as well as how it has helped them in life.
