Before you read the article “Don’t Sweat It. Reset It!” ask your students the following pre-reading question:
How does stress affect your health, and how can you feel better quickly when stressed?
Check students’ comprehension of and engagement with the story with the following assessment tools:

In HOW I RESET, have students write a one to two-page essay responding to the article. They should start with a short introduction on stress, and then go on to describe what typically stresses them out and why. Then, have them consider what their favorite resets are and why these resets are their go-to! (If they haven’t tried any resets before, have them explain which of the resets from the article they’d like to use and why.)
