In WATER WORKS, have your students use information learned in the article to write one to two pages of dialogue that might take place between a teenage patient and a doctor. In the dialogue, the patient should describe some health issues they have been experiencing and explain to the doctor how these challenges have been affecting them in school or in other areas. Next, the doctor should ask the patient about their hydration habits. Finally, the doctor should share some information with the patient about how appropriate hydration throughout the day is likely to help them feel better fast.
