The Comic Side of…Self-Image
Enjoy a comic strip about self-esteem.
Feeling like your self-esteem could use a tune-up? Try these image-boosting exercises.
1) AFFIRM YOURSELF. Tape affirmations (“I am strong,” “I believe in myself”) on your mirror, or make a photo of them your phone’s home screen.
2) DESCRIBE YOURSELF. Come up with one new positive attribute (generous, kind, creative, funny, etc.) to describe yourself each day.
3) APPRECIATE YOURSELF. Make a list of 10 things you like about yourself. Share it with parents or friends. You might be surprised by what they’d add!
Do you see yourself the way others see you?
