Is COVID causing a TikTok spike?
A survey by a Chicago children’s hospital found nearly two-thirds of parents polled think their teens’ social media use has gone up during the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the survey, most of the parents are concerned about the increased screen time. Are they right to worry, or is it NBD?
Ultra processed = ultra-yuck
A new study found that U.S. teens get a whopping two-thirds of their calories from ultra-processed foods: chips, candy, soda, and other packaged snacks. These foods may put you at risk for heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure, so reach for nuts or fruit instead.
