Choices Challenge: Stop the Hate!

Spread positivity with this month's challenge.

It’s anti-bullying month! We want kindness to go viral. Can you #stopthehate at your school?

How this #ChoicesChallenge works:

The more confidence you have in yourself, the less likely you are to put others down. A climate of kindness can drown out cruelty, making bullying victims feel less alone. We’ve teamed up with WeStopHate.org to make schools friendlier, more positive places. Here's how you can help:

1. Steal our idea. Go to scholastic.com/choices to print our “Take a Compliment!” flyer and plaster it around school (with permission, of course!). It's a simple
way to spread positivity.

2. Brainstorm your own ideas. Team up with your class, a club, or your friends to come up with unique activities, daily announcements, or PSA-style campaigns that will kick up the kindness at your school.

3. Inspire others. If you're 13 or older, use social media to get the word out. Tweet us (@Choices_Mag & @WeStopHate) using the hashtag #ChoicesChallenge to share how you #stopthehate!

Win!

How did you stop hate at your school? Tell us (in 300 words or less) and show us (five photos documenting your school’s efforts). You can win  a party for your class and a party to pay forward to another class. Plus the winners will be featured on Scholastic.com and WeStopHate.org!
