Celebrate World Vegetarian Day With These Meatless Meals
Here at Choices/TeenBeing HQ, we’re all about nutrition. But that doesn’t mean we all eat the same. Some of us are vegan, some of us are paleo, some of us are total carnivores, but we can all agree on one thing: No matter how you choose to eat, getting the right nutrition is vital.
Good nutrition means choosing a colorful plate with fruits and vegetable—so no matter how we each choose to get our daily dose of vitamins and minerals, we can all agree on some delicious (and nutritious) recipes—many of which are meat-free! And just in time World Vegetarian Day! To celebrate, we’re rounded up some of our favorite vegetarian-friendly recipes (and some we’re dying to try), perfect to whip up on any meatless Monday (or tonight!).
For the avocado aficionado: Eggs Baked in Avocado from Serious Eats
For the party planner: Guacamole from Alton Brown/the Food Network
For the teen that will only eat burritos (you know the one!): Grilled Veggie Burritos from the Pioneer Woman
For the Pumpkin Spice Latte-lover with a big appetite: Vegan Pumpkin Chili from the Iron You
